Rules & Regulations

  • WAVE network is a platform equipped with advanced tools and resources to streamline the business operations of its members.
  • By becoming a member of the WAVE network, a company enters an exclusive international community of professional freight forwarders.
  • The applicant’s company must meet specific criteria to ensure they are professional freight forwarders with a reputable track record in the industry.
  • The potential members must submit an online application form providing details of their company, business practices, and relevant industry experience. Request possible supporting business documents and licenses: Business Registration, Articles of Incorporation / Association, Licenses, and Certificates related to the freight forwarding business (IATA, FIATA, ISO, local freight forwarding associations).
  • Membership Fees:

Members are required to pay an annual membership fee to access the benefits and services of WAVE. Membership is automatically renewed for 1 year at the end of each membership period. 30 days before membership expires, members will receive renewal invoice for payment of the next period.

The annual membership fee may be subject to adjustments. Any proposed increase in the annual membership fee will be communicated to all members in a timely manner, allowing for sufficient notice and transparency in the fee adjustment process.

  • Annual Conferences: It is mandatory for all members to attend the Annual meetings, not missing two consecutive years without reason.
  • All members required adding the logo of WAVE network in the signature of outgoing mails and their website.


Code of Ethics

  • WAVE members commit to work closely together in a friendly atmosphere respecting each other’s culture, religion and political situation.
  • Support fellow members worldwide as a priority to the best of your company's ability.
  • Requests from fellow members must be responded to within 24 hours. If the rate is not yet available, require more information, or you are unable to quote immediately, it must be promptly notified to the sending party by written.
  • WAVE members will settle all debts within thirty days of invoicing one another unless otherwise agreed.
  • Wave members must respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the network and refrain from disclosing proprietary or confidential information without proper authorization.
  •  WAVE provides dispute mediation mechanisms to address conflicts or disagreements between members.  Any disputes between members are to be reported to WAVE administration promptly and within the time guideline provided in the payment protection plan.
